SOAR NWA is a community-wide hot air balloon festival and fundraising event hosted by Open Avenues staff and a dedicated team of volunteers in support of our mission. Each year, more than 11,000 attendees from across the region come together for a one-of-a-kind experience that celebrates community, inclusion, and opportunity.
The event offers something for everyone, including a variety of hot air balloon experiences (weather permitting), a kids zone, helicopter rides, wrestling shows, beer garden, live music, car exhibit, and more. Whether you’re coming for the balloons, the entertainment, or the atmosphere, SOAR NWA is designed to bring people together in a fun and meaningful way.
Proceeds from SOAR NWA directly support Open Avenues’ programs, helping create opportunities for people with disabilities to work, grow, and live with purpose.
